Browns' Quinshon Judkins arrested on domestic violence, battery charge

Cleveland Browns rookie running back Quinshon Judkins was taken into custody on charges of domestic violence and battery in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Saturday, as reported by the Fort Lauderdale Police Department and Broward County arrest records.

As of Saturday night, a bond amount had not been established for the 21-year-old Judkins, who was in jail and was set to appear in court for the first time on Sunday morning. The charge is categorized as "touch or strike/battery/domestic violence," according to the arrest documentation.

This charge is classified as a misdemeanor, as stated by Fort Lauderdale Police Sgt. David Soika to ESPN.

Soika mentioned that officers arrived at a residence around 9 a.m. ET on Saturday and confirmed that battery had taken place, leading to their interaction with Judkins and his subsequent arrest.

The Browns have indicated they are "aware and gathering more details," according to a spokesperson for the team. The NFL is also "aware of the matter but will decline further comment," an official from the league informed ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Cleveland drafted Judkins, a former standout at Ole Miss and Ohio State, with the 36th overall pick in the 2025 draft. He is the only player among the Browns' seven draftees who has yet to sign his rookie contract.

Browns rookies are scheduled to report for training camp on Friday.
